8:15 Devotion Let's get our mind on the Lord. Is this the day that He has made! The people that lead each days devotion have a lot of creative ideas. You never know just how they will insert God into the day. 8:20 Breakfast/Cleanup MMMMmmmmm... Chow time! We always line up and have prayer over the meal. Afterwards, it's time to do our duty around the campgrounds. Each cabin has a daily assignment that could be anything from Kitchen duty to cleaning bathrooms. 9:20 Class
The junior campers and the senior campers separate to learn about 10:00 Break (Snack Shack, drinks only) Time to cool off and take a breath... get a drink too! 10:15 Recreation Oh boy, now we're havin' fun. We like to play softball, volleyball and also have some great special activities. One day during the week, your group, whether it be the juniors or the seniors, will have their own water war: "Capture the Flag!" This is a military type feel, with two teams and their captain. You never know what kind of fun we're going to have today! 11:45 Music Class We always need to worship. This class is just for that. We learn the songs we'll be singing throughout the week, and even have a Silly Songs session. 12:15 Lunch Chow time again. Those cooks just never rest, making sure we have a nice, healthy meal.
1:50 Quiet Time The juniors are required to lay down and get some rest. The seniors are required to do some type of quiet activity and are encouraged to lay down and rest. The day is only halfway through, and we have so much more to do! 2:15 Girls Swim Time The pool is huge! Cool off with your group. We have the pool enclosed and separate the girls and boys to support privacy and modesty. 3:00 Snack Shack open 3:15 Jr. Boys Swim Time Boys can be so rough, so we like to separate the different age groups. You also generally have more boys that will swim than girls, and we don't want to overcrowd the pool. 3:45 Snack Shack Closed 4:15 Sr. Boys Swim Time You know... the male staff gets to swim the whole 2 hours, if they desire... Have fun! 5:15 Cool Down Now it's time to settle down and prepare for evening service. Most of us like to use this time to shower and get dressed in our church clothes. 5:30 Cabin Devotion Each cabin group gets alone with their counselor to have a prayer time and devotion before service. 6:00 Dinner/Cleanup Once more... chow time! Be careful, don't stain your church clothes! On Friday night, we'll have our banquet.
- Fun time
Get changed into your comfy clothes, it's FUNTIME! You might want to consider play clothes, you just might be one of the lucky "volunteers" that gets to be involved in a "messy situation." We hardly ever cancel fun time even when it's late. We love to laugh and have fun! This is one of the most anticipated times of the day.
- Lights Out! Go to bed! Get some rest! We have to get up and do it all over again tomorrow!
